All new for 2008, Scion unveiled the new xB at the Chicago Auto Show, following the styling path determined by a concept vehicle shown in 2005 at the New York Auto Show
Scion xB features new soft angles and elongated headlamps on the signature xB styling, while increasing the wheelbase by four inches, the overall length by a foot, and the overall width by almost three inches to give the xB a more comfortable ride
Scion xB comes in a 5-door body style in a single trim level with owner-selectable options
Scion xB is powered by a 2.4-liter DOHC 16-valve EFI with VVT-I 4-cylinder engine rated at 158 HP at 6000 RPM with a torque rating of 162 lbs.-ft. at 4000 RPM, coupled with a choice of 5-speed manual or 4-speed ECT automatic transmission on a front-wheel drive platform
